As the only railway container hub in Guangdong Province currently, Guangzhou International Port has recently welcomed the one-year anniversary of the regular operation of the Guangzhou International Port Station of China-Europe Railway Express, which marks a new milestone.

The Guangzhou International Port Station of China-Europe Railway Express was officially launched on August 4th, 2022. According to statistics, in the past year, the Guangzhou Station Customs, under the supervision of Guangzhou Customs, has monitored the import and export of 523 trains, shipped approximately 49,000 containers, with a total cargo volume exceeding 350,000 tons and a value exceeding 11.5 billion yuan. It has achieved month-on-month growth for 12 consecutive months, maintaining a strong momentum of rapid growth.

"The Guangzhou routes of China-Europe Railway Express continue to expand. On July 4th this year, the first China-Kyrgyzstan-Ukraine international multimodal train departed from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It can save five days of transit time compared to the traditional route through the Khorgos Port, helping companies further expand their markets in Central Asia and other regions," said Xie Wanlin, section chief of the Supervision Section of Guangzhou Station Customs. Currently, Guangzhou International Port regularly operates 11 China-Europe routes, with a total of six departures and five arrivals, connecting more than 40 cities in over 20 countries and regions in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, West Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and more.

While Guangzhou continues to expand its China-Europe routes with an increasing coverage area, the types of goods transported by the China-Europe Railway Express are also becoming more diverse. Currently, the Guangzhou Customs District has transported over 2,000 different types of goods, including machinery and electronics, agricultural products, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and cultural products, providing a stable international logistics channel for over 3,000 foreign trade enterprises.

Products made in the Greater Bay Area continue to be favored by foreign consumers. Guangzhou has been adding more trains to China-Europe Railway Express for Guangdong specialty products, with a strengthening focus on the creation of a unique channel for Guangdong goods outbound, helping to launch a wave of Guangdong products going global. Guangzhou Customs, together with railway and port operators, has studied and formulated export plans for special goods from the GBA area. They have supported the operation of 58 special trains for the export of cold chain goods, LCD TVs, microwave ovens, air conditioners, and other products, opening up a new land logistics channel for the export of white home appliances and cold chain goods from the Greater Bay Area.

At the same time, in response to the export demands of automobile companies in customs districts, collaborative efforts have been made between the railway department, station operators, and other entities to develop a railway export plan for new energy vehicles. A cross-customs coordination mechanism has been established with the customs at the destination, supporting the export of new energy vehicles through the China-Europe Railway Express and opening up a new export channel.

“钢铁驼队”助力“湾区制造”直通欧亚大陆

作为目前广东唯一的铁路集装箱中心站，广州国际港近日迎来新的里程碑——广州国际港中欧班列站点常态化运营满一周年。

广州国际港中欧班列站点于2022年8月4日正式启用。据统计，一年来，广州海关所属广州车站海关共监管该站点进出口中欧班列523列、发运标箱约4.9万个、货运量超35万吨、货值超115亿元人民币，连续12个月实现环比增长，延续快速增长的良好势头。

“广州中欧班列线路持续拓展，今年7月4日粤港澳大湾区首列‘中吉乌’公铁联运国际班列发车，较传统经霍尔果斯口岸路线可节约5天在途时间，助力企业进一步拓展中亚等地区市场。”广州车站海关监管科科长谢婉琳表示，目前广州国际港已常态化开行“6出5进”共11条中欧班列线路，通达西欧、东欧、西亚、中亚、东南亚等20多个国家和地区的40余个城市。

在广州中欧班列运输通道不断拓宽、辐射范围持续扩大的同时，中欧班列运输货物种类也不断丰富。目前，广州海关关区中欧班列已运输机电、农产品、石油化工、医药、文化等超2000个税号种类的商品，为3000多家外贸企业提供了稳定的国际物流通道。

“湾区制造”商品持续受到国外消费者的欢迎，广州中欧班列不断增加广东特色产品班列，加强打造“广货广出”特色通道，助力掀起广货“出海潮”。广州海关联合铁路、口岸运营方等单位研究制定粤港澳大湾区特色货物出口方案，先后支持开行了出口冷链货物、液晶电视、微波炉、空调机等专列共58列，开辟了粤港澳大湾区白色家电及冷链货物出口的全新陆路物流通道。

同时，结合关区汽车企业出口需求，联合铁路部门、场站运营方等研究制定新能源汽车铁路出口方案，建立与出境地海关的跨关区协调机制，支持新能源汽车借力中欧班列打通出口新通道。(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
